**  5 legion members work on roof of hall.

      **  District convention a success
       Legion to meet at hall for monthly meeting on
       the 15th. 

      **  3 members and 2 auxiliary ladies give Flag
      education program to 49 fifth grade students at local
      school.
      ** Commander has obtained speaker for memorial day
      program.

      ** Post to set Flag poles at Mt Vernon cemetery on
      May 23 and then place flag on poles on Sat morning the
      24th  and then place grave flags on grave site
      following.
      ** Post members to pick up grave markers flags for
      other cemeteries on the 15 after meeting.
      ** Second reading of new Post officer nominations
      for the coming year to be read at meeting of 15th. 
       ** Legion members and auxiliary ladies to go to
      another school for Flag education on the 16th of may.
       ** Electrical work at Post to upgrade system to
      underway next several days..
       ** Historian is working on DVD for Post scrap book.
       ** Work is progressing on flag poles for service
      flags and stand.
       ** Post adjutant reports a fund raising dinner to
      be held on August 2 this year and another for the kids
      in November. Tickets for both will be available from
      members.
       ** Sorry for the delay in Posting items to this
      site but as you can see we are busy.
