Welcome to a new year 2008

Adjutant wants all volunteer hours members provided to
the community. An example: Post took part in 32
funerals and over 200 veterans took part in those
funerals all the hours count in service to community
and veterans and widows.

Meeting on Thursday night 7 February the Post
Historian wants all officers of the Post to be in Tie
and sports Jacket for a picture of the group for his
report and scrapbook.

Bowling team is generating more interest and it may be
possible for the Post to have another team next year.

The annual Mid winter conference also is coming up on
the week end of 8,9,10 Feb in Huntington WV. A
delegation of members from the Post will be there.

A dinner to help Special Olympics children is upcoming
for information notice is posted on stairway door at
the Post with more information. 

The commander will appoint an nominating committee to
obtain new officers for the up coming year. If you
would like to be an officer and service the Post. Be
thinking about what position you could serve.
